DO YOU SEE WHAT I SEE?: God at Work Within Us

Based on Ephesians 3:20-21, “Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine . . . ” We will discover that God sees us, knows us, and hears our prayers. There are times in our life when we don’t feel seen or appreciated, but God does. He is fully present with us, and although we tend to put a limit on His power, His power is limitless—it’s immeasurable. God is working in us, giving us the desire and power to do what pleases Him (See Philippians 2:13), but sometimes fear gets the best of us. Do you SEE what God sees in you? Take off the glasses of fear and SEE that you have been created and are loved by a mighty and IMMEASURABLE God.

PLANTED: Sit, Stand, and Walk with Jesus

Being planted means taking the time out of our busy lives just to SIT with God. As we study Psalm 1:1-3, we will be reminded to STAND on the promises in Scripture and be transformed by Christ as we WALK with Him during days of joy and in moments of sorrow. It’s about giving up control and letting God PLANT us where we need to be—so we can grow up into the strong tree described in Psalm 1:2-3.

When our roots are deeply PLANTED into fellowship, love, grace, and the Word of God, we can’t help but become a beautiful strong tree with purpose. Our leaves will not wither under the stresses and storms of life, our fruit will be abundant, and our lives will prosper. It’s a promise on which we can stand.

You will also uncover a trash-to-treasure concept: Grasping vs. Giving, Wasting vs. Waiting, It’s all about ME vs. It’s all about YOU, Stay vs. Go, and Imperfect vs. Perfect. RIDING TANDEM: Leaning into the Leading of God

ridingtandemRiding Tandem: Leaning into the Leading of God is about an authentic, one-on-one relationship with God. It’s about learning our position on the back of the bike and trusting God with the front steering. Our personal relationship with God is built for two. He is the Captain, and we must learn to lean into His leading, pedal forward, and trust Him with the directions. Riding tandem with Jesus is letting go of the handlebars and experiencing His power as we pedal. Everyday.

UNLOCKED: Unlocking the Keys to the Kingdom of God

Looking deeper into Matthew 16:13-19, women will answer for themselves who they believe Jesus is. Jesus offers us the Keys to the Kingdom of Heaven to unlock the mysteries of Scripture. When we believe in Christ, these keys unlock the power of the Holy Spirit to work within us. Need some patience today? Unlock 1 Corinthians 13:4: “Love is patient.” Need some rest? Unlock Matthew 11:28: “Come to me, all who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest.” Unlocking the Keys to the Kingdom of Heaven unlocks our burdens, broken dreams, and barriers for us to be the women of Christ we were created to be.

A SEED TO SOW: Slowing Down in a Busy World

cover-artA Seed to Sow explores the Parable of the Sower in Luke 8:1-15. Each lesson looks at a fungus and an opposite fertilizer. The fungus represents ALL that takes our hearts and minds away from God while the fertilizer is the active ingredient that keeps our hearts and minds focused on God. A Seed to Sow will give girls the gardening tools they need to prepare the soil of their hearts to receive God’s Word.

THE IN AND OUT CAFE: Jealousy is Not on the Menu

Final-logoUsing the stage of Genesis 25-27, girls will look more closely at the word: JEALOUSY. Using an “In and Out Cafe” theme: Jealousy, Lying, Quarreling, Deceit, and Revenge are “ordered-in” but Peace, Trust, Blessing, Truth, and Forgiveness are “taken-out.” Jealousy blinds us from making good choices. Jealousy is selfish. Jealousy focuses on what other people have. Jealousy is driven out of insecurity. Jealousy listens to bad advice and takes poor action. We need to order in some Jesus and take out some peace, trust, blessing, truth, and forgiveness.

JAMES: Following God's Road Signs

God gives us INSTRUCTIONS for life, but often we choose to drive our OWN way—finding ourselves on dead-end streets and making U-turns. We need a road map that will guide us in the right direction. Following God’s Road Signs teaches us to put our faith into action by stopping, looking at God’s map, and asking Him for directions.

Evangelical in approach, The Perfect Present identifies the simplicity of the gospel message. God is great and infinite. We are His children and designed as a masterpiece. Sin is guaranteed and false. Jesus is with us and offers forgiveness. The Holy Spirit is our instructor and teacher. Once we accept the perfect present of Jesus, we will be filled with His perfect presence forever.
